Equine Scholarships
The rewards of being an equine veterinary technician are abundant, but there are also challenges no one should have to navigate on their own. That’s why in partnership with AAEVT and MentorVet, CareCredit is proudly offering 20 full scholarships for the MentorVet Tech+ program in 2025 to ensure your passion and purpose are rewarded with satisfaction and success in the profession you’ve chosen.
Designed to help veterinary technicians thrive, MentorVet Tech+ is an evidence-based program that delivers the peer support, coaching, and mentorship you need to ease into your chosen profession.
MentorVet Tech+
This five-month virtual mentorship and professional development program aims to promote wellbeing by providing a combination of training in professional skills, financial and mental health coaching, and mentorship. The next start date is on August 1, 2025.
Scholarship Qualifications
Applicants must be veterinary technicians or veterinary assistants
Applicants must be able to dedicate three to four hours per month for five months
Preference given to AAEVT members
Program Highlights
Complete five online self-paced learning modules focused on these professional life skills: stress management, conflict management, and communication skills.
Once a month, upon completion of each module, you’ll meet virtually with your program peers to discuss module content, compare in-practice experiences, and deepen your understanding of how to apply lessons learned.
The program will extend from August 1, 2025 - January 31, 2026.
MentorVet Tech+ has been approved for 10 hours of continuing education credits in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval.
